Governance Structures
Governors are on a variety of committees.
They are given nominated roles eg subject governors and classes to be attached to.
They are also on certain committees such as
HT appraisal
Admissions
Appeals
Grievance
Safeguarding and Child Protection
Complaints from parents
Governors skills/interests are taken into consideration when committees / roles are formed.
Involvement in school life
Governors are invited into school. They take part in activities which monitor the performance of school and are a critical friend to the school senior leadership team.
They are responsible for:
Recruitment of school staff.
Admissions into school.
Monitoring the finance of the school.
The school curriculum.
We are very grateful for the amount of time our governors spend on school and help work with the leadership team for the benefit of our children.
